Ukraine and Finland Sign Drone Deal

Ukraine and Finland have signed a cooperation agreement on unmanned systems (Drone Deal).

Finnish President Alexander Stubb announced the conclusion of the agreement following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The signed document provides for the launch of joint drone production. According to the president of Finland, Finnish defense companies are already ready to begin work.

“Defence sector companies in Finland are ready, and the joint effort can now get fully under way,” Alexander Stubb reported.

Militarnyi previously reported that Ukrainian company Tencore and Finnish Insta would establish a joint venture to manufacture TerMIT 2.0 unmanned ground vehicles.

The initial goal is to produce 320 systems for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
