Three Storage Tanks, Pipelines Damaged in Unmanned Systems Forces and SSU Strike on Tamanneftegaz Oil Terminal

At least three storage tanks and pipelines were hit in the July 30 attack on the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal.

This is evidenced by satellite imagery published by the Dnipro Osint Telegram channel.

The strike on the facility was carried out by operators of the 1st Center and the 413th Unmanned Systems Regiment “Raid”, in coordination with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

As a result of the attack, one of the storage tanks was completely destroyed, while technical pipelines leading to the oil-loading berths were also damaged.

The Tamanneftegaz oil terminal, operated by the OTEKO Group, is the largest privately owned oil transshipment complex in southern Russia

The port operates as a specialized transshipment terminal for the receipt, storage, and loading of petroleum products.

The terminal has an annual throughput capacity of approximately 19.9 million metric tons.

Its storage tank farm for petroleum products and liquefied gas has a total capacity of more than 1 million cubic meters.

Disabling this infrastructure directly disrupts the loading of oil tankers in the Black Sea.

Previously, the Italian-led EU naval mission boarded the tanker Toa Payoh, part of Russia’s so-called shadow fleet.

The operation was the second of its kind in less than two weeks, amid intensified European efforts to inspect vessels suspected of helping Russia circumvent oil sanctions.

The Toa Payoh was intercepted west of the Sicilian island of Pantelleria while sailing from Benin to Istanbul.
