The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the work of “Uragan” MLRS in the Mykolaiv region

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are using all the available weapons, including rocket artillery, to fight against the Russian invaders.

Ukrainian rocket artillery units inflict fire damage on the enemy in various areas of defense.

“Uragan” multiple rocket launchers are destroying military equipment, field fortifications, housing buildings of the occupiers, ammunition, and fuel depots.

The enemy is also suffering extreme losses in manpower.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video featuring the work of BM-27 “Uragan” jet systems of volley fire in the Mykolaiv region.

The video captured the process of deployment at firing positions and aiming at the target, as well as combat work against the Russian invaders’ positions.

MLRS “Uragan” is one of the most long-range and powerful multiple rocket launchers in service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In 20 seconds, Uragan can deploy a volley of 16 rockets that could hit targets up to 35 km away. The Uragan system was developed in the early 1970s at the Splav State Enterprise and in 1976, it was adopted by the Soviet Army.

In the previous years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received modernized versions of “Uragans” – instead of the ZIL-375YA carburetor gasoline engines, the chassis of combat vehicles were equipped with the D-245.30E2 diesel engines, that have a bigger torque compared to the base engine and significantly lower fuel consumption.
