The 3rd Assault Brigade was redeployed to the Avdiyivka sector to reinforce the Ukrainian troops.

The press service of the 3rd Assault Brigade reported on this.

Units of the 3rd Assault Brigade were redeployed from the Bakhmut direction to Avdiyivka to reinforce Ukrainian troops.

“The 3rd Assault Brigade confirms that it has been urgently redeployed to reinforce Ukrainian troops in the Avdiyivka area. The situation in the city at the time of the brigade’s deployment was extremely critical,” the brigade’s press service reported.

Separate battalions of the 3rd Assault Brigade conducted a raid into the enemy-held areas of Avdiyivka. The Russian forces in the area allocated to the brigade are approximately 7 brigades.

According to the military, two brigades of the Russian Armed Forces were critically damaged in the Avdiyivka sector.

The exact enemy losses in personnel and equipment will be reported later after the necessary data is confirmed.

At the same time, the objective situation in Avdiyivka remains threatening and unstable. The enemy continues to actively rotate its troops and deploy new forces and equipment to the city.

As previously reported, the battles with the invaders have been ongoing in Avdiyivka since the end of January. Militarnyi reported that the Ukrainian military used tanks to eliminate Russian invaders who had entered the streets of Avdiyivka.

At the same time, Russian troops continue trying to assault the village of Stepove, located near Avdiyivka. Invaders are trying to gain a foothold in the village and completely occupy it, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces do not дуе them to do so.
