Serbian MiG-29 fighter jets have been armed with Chinese LS-6 glide bombs.

Tango Six reported on this.

The new ammunition was spotted after it was publicly announced that these fighters would be equipped with Chinese CM-400AKG air-to-ground missiles.

In terms of size, it is likely a 500-kilogram version with a range of up to 80 km.

The LS-6 is a modernization kit that converts conventional bombs into high-precision ones.

It was developed in China by the Luoyang Optoelectronic Technology Development Center (LOTDC), a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), and entered service in 2006.

The bombs are carried by JH-7, JF-17 Thunder, J-10, J-11, J-20, and, more recently, MiG-29 aircraft. There are four variants of the LS-6: 50, 100, 250, and 500 kg. The bomb is suspended on a pylon with an integrated SWFCS (Standalone Weapon Fire Control System). It uses a wireless data link connected to a tablet that the pilot can hold on their lap.

The tablet serves as a portable wireless controller that the pilot can use to fire ammunition.
