The Russian military disguised a serviceman in civilian clothes to blow up a building in Kostiantynivka of the Donetsk region.

The video of the building being blown up was posted by the Telegram channel UkrDailyUpdate after the original video being deleted from the Bat Rosana channel of the 4th Separate Guatds Motor Rifle Brigade.

The video shows a soldier in civilian clothing throwing a bag with a TM-62 anti-tank mine into the building, after which a Russian drone captures the explosion.

The original video was later removed, but a copy of it has been preserved. It shows Russian soldiers blowing up buildings in Kostiantynivka.

During one of the incidents, a drone captured footage of a soldier in civilian clothing. The building itself is located at coordinates 48.500083, 37.701068.

International humanitarian law requires combatants to adhere to the principle of distinction between military personnel and the civilian population.

Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions stipulates that combatants must distinguish themselves from the civilian population during military operations, including by openly carrying weapons during combat and while visible to the adversary during deployment prior to an attack.

Wearing civilian clothing to conceal one’s military affiliation during an attack may violate the norms of international humanitarian law.

At the same time, during the full-scale invasion, the Russian army repeatedly violated the norms of international humanitarian law, both during combat operations and in its treatment of prisoners of war and civilians.

In addition, Russia systematically attacks civilian infrastructure. In settlements near the front lines, Russian troops are deliberately targeting people with FPV drones.

Militarnyi has previously reported that a Russian drone deliberately pursued a man selling vegetables in Kherson and exploded right next to him.

According to the victim, he used hand gestures to signal to the drone operator that there were only vegetables nearby. However, this did not stop the operator.
