Russia Attacks Vynohradivka Border Crossing on Moldova Border

On the night of August 25, Russia attacked the Vynohradivka international road border crossing on the Moldova border with Shahed attack drones.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said the attack damaged the border crossing’s infrastructure. Firefighters brought the fire under control.

The border crossing is located in Ukraine’s Odesa region, in Bolhrad district.

Currently, the Vynohradivka–Vulcănești border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border has suspended passage of people and vehicles. The Moldovan side has been informed.

Traffic is being redirected to other border crossing points.

Border guards urged travelers to take this information into account when planning to cross the state border.

Last week, Russian forces also attacked the Tabaky international border crossing on the border with Moldova using Shahed drones.

The strike destroyed part of the facility’s infrastructure, temporarily suspending operations.
