Ukrainian Defense Forces drones attacked workshops at the Rostselmash industrial site in Taganrog, where an Ozon warehouse is located.
According to an analysis by Militarnyi, based on data from NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring system, the attack occurred on the morning of September 15, 2026.
Located next to the Ozon warehouse is the Taganrog Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev. This facility was likely the primary target of the attack.
In addition to the industrial workshop, a fire was also reported in the area of the fuel and lubricants depot at Taganrog-Centralny Airbase.
Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar also confirmed damage to the Ozon warehouse.
Previously, on the night of September 6–7, 2026, Ukrainian drones attacked the military airbase in Taganrog.
The airbase was the target. The Russian military actively uses the airbase. It is home to the 325th Aircraft Repair Plant (military unit 23213), which specializes in repairing transport aircraft and components for Il-76 aircraft.
The Taganrog aviation plant shares the airfield with a military unit of the 5th Aviation Group.
Beyond military bases and logistics facilities, attacks on Taganrog primarily aim to damage the enemy’s production capabilities.
For example, on September 12, Ukraine’s Security Service attacked military facilities in the area of Taganrog, Russia, including an FPV drone production facility and two drone storage sites.
Other reportedly hit targets included a Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun system, a P-18 Terek radar station, and a tank containing fuel and lubricants.
