During Operation Vivaldi, the 3rd Army Corps’ unmanned systems units carried out 36,000 strike missions targeting the logistics of Russian occupation forces.
The corps told Militarnyi that the strikes were part of the operation.
Systematic strikes on field fuel and lubricant depots in Luhansk Region forced the enemy to shut down a pipeline used to supply fuel from Russia. As a result, Russian forces shifted their supplies to Voronezh Region, forcing fuel trucks to travel through Russian territory.
Regular strikes on ammunition depots, communications nodes, command posts and vehicles increased the equipment evacuation route used by an enemy division by approximately 250 km.
The destruction of the logistics network took place in two stages. First, strike drones isolated an area extending up to 50 km from the line of contact, after which the strike zone was expanded to 120 km.
As a result, Russian forces have been forced to disperse their depots in forests and across Russian territory, slowing supplies to the front line. Fuel shortages in enemy units limit the use of their drones and electronic warfare systems, increasing the effectiveness of Ukrainian precision weapons.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting the Vivaldi offensive operation in the Lyman sector in Donetsk Region. During the operation, Ukrainian forces cleared the settlements of Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka and Yarova, as well as the outskirts of Korovyi Yar. Ukrainian forces also fully liberated the village of Serednie.
