One target – one shot. Paratroopers destroyed the enemy`s “Orlan”

In the Donetsk region, Sicheslav paratroopers have shot down a Russian Orlan-10 UAV.

The air defense unit of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of Sicheslav destroyed an enemy UAV.

The paratroopers used Stinger MANPADS to “land” the drone.

“The Sicheslav paratroopers once again have successfully “landed” a Russian “bird” with the Stinger MANPADS. One target – one shot”, said the Air Assault Forces Command.

The day before, marines have “landed” the Russian drone in the Zaporizhia region.

“Orlan-10” is a medium-range drone used at distances up to 120 km from the control point, but in autonomous mode, it can fly as far as 600 km.

“Orlan-10” time in the air is up to 18 hours, and flight speed is 90-150 km per hour. It is launched from a special catapult, and its weight is 14 kg.

Using this UAV, the Russians are not only correcting the artillery fire but are also conducting radio reconnaissance and can, in particular, jam mobile communications.
