Militarnyi and Defence24 signed an agreement: common narratives, assistance to the defense industry and networking

Militarnyi and Defence24 have signed a cooperation agreement.

The document was signed on May 7, 2025 in Warsaw during the Defence24 DAYS security conference.

The agreement provides for the promotion of the idea of deepening Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in the defense sector. Ukrainian and Polish media will popularize the idea of comprehensive cooperation between the countries of the Baltic-Black Sea region.

Joint projects and initiatives will be aimed at strengthening both European strategic defense autonomy and preserving the transatlantic partnership.

Piotr Małecki, President of Defence24 Media Group, made a comment on the signing of the agreement:

“We hope that this will be a completely new stage and a new quality in informing our societies, as well as in deepening relations between our two countries. This will allow us to better promote common security narratives, as well as policies in various areas, whether in the defense industry or in dual-use systems. We want to promote the best of both the Polish and Ukrainian sides.

According to Vadym Kushnikov, executive director of the Militarnyi Information and Analysis Center, this is an opportunity to create better content that will form an adequate understanding of security threats and ways to overcome them in European society.

In practical terms, Militarnyi and Defence24 will focus on promoting bilateral Ukrainian-Polish projects in the defense industry.

Oleksandr Arhat, co-founder of Militarnyi, explained the motivation on the Ukrainian side:

“Our team sincerely believes that Poland is our very important partner. With this agreement, we want to show an example of how Ukrainians and Poles should focus on a rational and future-oriented approach.

Ukrainians and Poles will try to involve other partners in this cooperation, including media and think tanks from European countries.

It is planned to create joint content for Ukrainian and Polish audiences.
