Due to the threat of drone attacks, Moscow has deployed machine gun-mounted vehicles and stationed machine gunners on the Kremlin towers.

Photos and videos are published by “VChK-OGPU”.

Security forces have also blocked access to Red Square, where the parade is to take place and President Vladimir Putin is expected to speak.

Soldiers armed with machine guns and sniper rifles have been positioned on the walls and buildings of the Kremlin, including the Spasskaya Tower.

The Ministry of Defense previously reported that the Victory Day parade in Moscow will take place without military equipment for the first time since 2007.

President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov attributed the scaled-down format to the “operational situation” and the threat from Ukraine.

These additional measures were implemented after the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked Moscow with FP-1 strike drones on the night of May 4.
