HIMERA presents new secure communication systems

HIMERA, a Ukrainian manufacturer of secure communication systems, has demonstrated a communication ecosystem for G1 PRO tactical radios.

The company announced the release of the technological products on its social media pages.

The developers presented new elements of the secure communication ecosystem for G1 PRO tactical radios, namely:

• B1 – network extender;
• E1 – Internet extender;
• R1 – a repeater with the function of transmitting radio communications via the Internet.

The company held a presentation of these products in a training ground, where they were tested together with G1 PRO radios under the influence of electronic warfare systems at the training ground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The company shared that during the demonstration, the G1 PRO was never fully located by the EW assets and was not suppressed by the EW equipment.

“With the help of a drone with a B1 network extender in the sky, communication became even better during the operation of EW weapons. G1 PRO radios also worked while driving armored vehicles and transmitted voice and data,” the developers noted.

HIMERA is a Ukrainian manufacturer of tactical secure radio communication systems for the Defense Forces. Currently, the company’s main product is the G1 Pro radio.

The G1 Pro uses a pseudo-random frequency hopping system and AES-256 encryption, making intercepting and decoding communications impossible.

The radios can also form a MANET-like network among themselves, which supports data delivery even in the absence of a direct connection. At the same time, all stations in the network operate with IFR and encryption in the same way as in direct mode.

The station has the ability to transmit voice and digital data. A simple interface and integration with Android mobile devices greatly simplify its setup: HIMERA can be configured via Bluetooth via a smartphone without learning specialized programs.

“These and other features of the HIMERA G1 Pro allow it to meet the communication needs of the army effectively,” the developers stated.

Militarnyi previously reported that the company had donated several hundred radios to the Ukrainian military.
