The Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer in the Donetsk region using FPV kamikaze drones.

A Russian 152-mm self-propelled howitzer was neutralized near Avdiivka.

The military published the video in a Telegram.

The Russian Msta-S was hit by operators of the FPV Drone Group “Muramasa” of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade.

According to the military, an enemy artillery unit fired at Ukrainian soldiers in the Avdiivka sector, but was detected at a combat position on the temporarily occupied territory.

The footage shows the damage to the enemy’s self-propelled howitzer and the subsequent powerful detonation of the ammunition inside.

The self-propelled howitzer was destroyed by FPV kamikaze drones, which were equipped with shaped charge warheads.

According to the footage, these are warheads from a PG-7 rocket-propelled grenade, which is usually fired from a RPG-7 hand-held grenade launcher.

The video posted by the Ukrainian military shows a powerful explosion and burning, which most likely led to the complete destruction of the Russian Msta-S self-propelled howitzer.
