Drones Strike Russian Gunpowder Factory Elastik

Ukrainian drones attacked the Elastik gunpowder factory in Russia’s Ryazan region.

According to the General Staff of Ukraine, a fire broke out on the factory premises as a result of the strike.

The Elastik plant is owned by the company Gefest-M, which specializes in producing explosives and military-grade products.

The facility is considered one of the key industrial sites in the Ryazan region. It plays an important role in ensuring the production of explosive materials.

Information regarding the extent of the damage and the potential consequences of the attack is currently being clarified. Official Russian authorities have not provided detailed comments on the incident.

Last year, a massive explosion occurred at the facility, claiming the lives of at least four people.

Another explosion on the factory grounds was recorded in 2019.
