Ukrainian Defense Forces strike drones hit a Russian oil logistics facility near the city of Perm.

The Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported the incident.

On social media and in local online groups, residents are sharing photos and videos showing a large fire after the strike.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Perm line production and dispatch station (LPDS) was attacked earlier today.

Based on the released images, the fire and thick smoke are already visible across the city and in the surrounding areas.

Dmitry Makhonin, the governor of Perm Krai, confirmed a drone strike and a fire “at one of the industrial sites” in the Perm municipal district.

“Workers have been evacuated. There are no casualties. A fire broke out at the site. Emergency and response services are working at the scene,” he wrote on Telegram.

Based on the nature of the fire, it is most likely that oil storage tanks are burning.

Perm LPDS

This is a key hub station of the pipeline company Transneft, responsible for pumping, storing, and distributing oil through Russia’s main pipelines in this region.

Oil passes through this facility en route to the Perm oil refinery, other industrial centers, and Russia’s export infrastructure.

From there, the crude oil enters the broader transportation system and can be routed to seaports on the Baltic and Black Seas.

In addition, the day before, Ukrainian drones also struck a Russian oil refinery in the city of Tuapse in Krasnodar Krai. A large fire broke out at the impact site.
