Last night, drones attacked a military facility in Bryansk, Russia.

Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the Bryansk region, confirmed the attack and damage to the facilities.

“As a result of the drone attack in Bryansk, non-residential buildings caught fire,” the Russian governor reported.

The Russian official spoke about the alleged repulsion of an attack on the region by air defense forces and aircraft-type drones at about 5:30 a.m.

Later, a Russian official claimed to have shot down 14 attack drones in the skies over the region.

At the same time, numerous footage of the fire began to appear in Telegram channels of Bryansk.

There were also reports that the target of the air attack could have been a local military unit.

OSTIN analysts from the Eye of Gor group write that the drone strike could have targeted the arsenal of the 120th Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU).

It is reported that in 2023, the head of the Russian government signed a decree according to which “120 Arsenal,” a new plant for the repair of artillery systems, was to be introduced in the structure of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the city of Bryansk.

The company was to be deployed on the basis of the 120th Artillery Arsenal of the Russian Defense Ministry.

This choice of location may be due to logistical reasons, such as the presence of a large railway junction.

On November 6, strike drones attacked a military unit and a defense plant in the city of Kaspiysk, Dagestan.
