In Rostov-on-Don, a fire at the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant’s oil loading terminal, which had been burning for several days following a drone attack, has been extinguished.
This was reported by OSINT analysts from the ASTRA media outlet.
According to their data, at least 7 of the terminal’s 12 large storage tanks were put out of commission.
The terminal was attacked on the night of October 10.
In footage taken by eyewitnesses on the afternoon of October 12, no open flames are visible, but gray smoke is noticeable.
The main infrastructure of the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery is located in the city of the same name, near the border with the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. Its oil loading terminal, meanwhile, is located in Rostov, given its geographical position on the Don River and access to the Sea of Azov.
The terminal had previously been attacked on July 9, 2026.
