Late Monday evening, powerful explosions and fires broke out in temporarily occupied Donetsk.

Eyewitnesses reported a missile strike. The Supernova+ resource published video footage of the strike aftermath.

According to the OSINT project Dnipro, a non-residential building that formerly belonged to the Donetsk State Scientific Research and Design Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals was damaged.

In its report, Astra highlighted the visual resemblance between the former institute building and the footage released by Russian propaganda after the strike.

The Ukrainian Cyberboroshno project stated that a site in Donetsk, likely used by the invaders for working on UAVs and electronic warfare (EW) systems, was targeted. However, they did not disclose the exact location.

There have also been online reports suggesting that the headquarters of one of the Russian invasion armies was targeted.

Currently, the exact type of cruise missiles used in the strike remains unknown.
