Attack drones of the Ghosts (Prymary), a special unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine struck a Russian Kasta radar station, two freight locomotives, and fuel tank cars in three rail convoys.

A video of the strike was published by the DIU press service.

Six fuel tanker trucks and military equipment on one of the struck trains were also hit.

“De-fueling the occupiers in Crimea — the DIU’s Ghosts unit continues the systematic destruction of enemy military logistics. The specialists of the DIU’s Ghosts special unit continue their systematic work to demilitarize the temporarily occupied Crimea—destroying and neutralizing military targets of the Russian occupation forces,” the press service noted.

Thus, the Ghosts special unit has joined the comprehensive pressure on Russian logistics, which combines strikes on targets deep within Russian territory as well as in the tactical and operational-tactical rear of the Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories.

After two months of intermittent strikes, supplies to Russian troops have been disrupted, especially on the southern front. The fuel situation in occupied territories has significantly deteriorated, and shortages of certain types of fuel have emerged in regions within Russia.

More information about the campaign of strikes against Russian logistics is available in our special report “Oil, Bridges, and Trucks: How Russian Logistics Came Under Comprehensive Pressure From Ukraine.”
