A Russian Mi-8 multi-purpose helicopter used to transport personnel and weapons was destroyed in Samara.
The press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported on this.
It is reported that the helicopter was destroyed on April 17 at the Kryazh Air Base in the city of Samara.
The released footage captures the rear part of the fuselage on fire, and flames on board the helicopter.
Militarnyi, with reference to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, recently reported that the Russian Serpukhov small missile ship deployed in the Baltic Sea was damaged by a fire on board.
The fire inside the missile ship completely destroyed its communications and automation equipment.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine stated that it would take a long time to restore the ship’s combat capability.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also presented a fragment of the structural plan of a Project 21631 Buyan-M small missile ship, which belongs to the same class as the Serpukhov ship, indicating the source of the fire. It originated in a cabin opposite the compartment of the 3S-14 launching system.
It was also reported that Ukrainian forces managed to detect and destroy a Buk SAM in the Zaporizhzhia region.
To reconnoiter the Russian position, a Kabul 9 Special Purpose Unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, established at the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion, was involved.
It was formed by veterans of the Ukrainian special services and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the assistance and participation of Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The unit’s soldiers managed to detect the Russian air defense system near the village of Velyka Bilozerka.
Ukrainian intelligence officers used the reconnaissance drone to adjust the artillery fire that hit the system.
