French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation has delivered a new batch of Rafale fighter jets to Egypt under the country’s second order for the aircraft.

The corresponding photos were published on the X by a user “Egypt’s Intel Observer.”

Among the aircraft prepared for delivery, three two-seat aircraft were identified — DM23, DM24, and DM26.

All three fighter jets were spotted at Dassault’s factory airfield in Bordeaux-Mérignac. The site is the company’s main base, where the Rafale is assembled and tested before delivery to customers.

The deliveries are taking place under a 2021 contract.

The parties signed the first agreement in 2015, under which Cairo received 24 fighters. Under the second order, Egypt purchased an additional 31 aircraft.

Under the contract terms, deliveries are scheduled to continue until 2026, although some observers say the timeline may shift due to Dassault’s heavy export workload.

In total, Egypt has ordered 55 Rafale fighters, of which 32 have already been delivered.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that in December 2025, Dassault Aviation delivered a batch of three Rafale fighters to the Egyptian Air Force.

At that time, the customer received three single-seat aircraft with tail numbers EM12, EM13 and EM14.

Today, the total Rafale export order book exceeds 300 aircraft, prompting the company to rapidly increase production. To support this, Dassault Aviation opened a new production line for the first time since the 1970s.

The new production site in Cergy, northwest of Paris, was officially opened in summer 2024 but became fully operational in 2025. It gradually replaced the outdated Argenteuil facility, where the Rafale was previously assembled.
