Belarusian combat helicopters crossed the state border with Poland.

It is reported by Militarnyi, citing local residents and Polish media.

At the same time, the Polish Ministry of Defense assures that the Air Operations Center has not recorded violations of airspace.

The events took place on the morning of August 1, 2023, in the area of the village of Belovezha.

Photos of the flight of Belarusian Mi-8MVT-5 and Mi-24 helicopters were released by local volunteer Eliza Kowalczyk.

These photos of Eliza Kowalczyk might not be evidence of Belarusian helicopters crossing the Polish border: the village is located too close to the border, and it’s possible Belarusian helicopters flew over their own territory.

But at the same time, local residents noted that helicopters crossed the border in the area of the village of Grudki and flew inland for about three kilometers.

Then they changed their course: they flew over Belovezhea towards Podolyan and turned back. Local residents grumbled about dangerous maneuvers and flying over residential buildings.

Later, more photos appeared on the web, which became evidence of crossing the border and made it possible to identify the place of flight of combat helicopters.

The Polish blogger SluzbyiObywatel conducted his investigation on his Twitter account. After assessing the photo of a local resident, he found the location of the helicopter flight.

It turned out that they delved more than two kilometers into Polish territory.

Recall that to protect this region of the country, Poland is forming a new infantry division.

It will be located in four provinces: Podlaskie, Mazowiecki, Warmian-Masurian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian.
