Belarus began a sudden check of troops

Belarus, by order of Lukashenko, began a sudden check of the combat readiness of troops.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

It is noted that the verification measures will be comprehensive.

Belarusian troops will move to certain areas as soon as possible, to carry out their engineering equipment, organize protection and defense.

The military should also provide bridge crossings across the Neman and Berezina rivers.

According to the Ministry, during this period it is planned to move military equipment and personnel, as well as temporarily restrict the movement of citizens and vehicles on separate public roads and sections of the area.

The formation of a joint group of troops with the Russian Federation continues in Belarus. Russian equipment, including tanks, is transferred to the Brest region on the border with Ukraine.

The monitoring group Belaruskiy Hayun reported that the columns of equipment began to move on December 12: they advanced from the Obuz-Lisnovsky landfill (Baranovichi district, Brest region) towards the Brest landfill (Brest region, Brest region).

In total, the movement of 24 units of equipment was recorded, taking into account 4 trawls with Т-80 tanks, a mortar battery, signal vehicles and engineering equipment.

Russia also continues to transfer military equipment to Belarus. It is reported that the train with at least 12 Т-72 tanks left the Bui railway station in the Kostroma region of the Russian Federation on December 8, and already on December 10 arrived at the Zaslonovo station in the Vitebsk region of Belarus.

Near the Zaslonovo station is the Lepelsky training ground, where a group of Russian military personnel have been located since October 2022. Presumably, these are mobilized.

Also earlier it was reported that Belarusian doctors began to receive “mobilization orders.” Doctors and nurses, both men and women, are called to the military enlistment offices.
