The Come Back Alive Foundation has provided the 12th Azov Brigade with Ukrainian-made UAS SETH tactical strike drones, equipped with an automated targeting system.

According to the foundation’s press service, these drones are designed for easy operation and are fully automated.

The drones are already being used to strike enemy targets in the Toretsk sector, with operators using them to effectively hunt down Russian personnel, weapons, and equipment.

The Azov Brigade shared video footage of the new attack drone in action.

After a reconnaissance drone locates a target, the UAS SETH captures and strikes the target autonomously. In the footage, a Russian truck is targeted and hit by the drone.

The Brigade also added that the UAS SETH unmanned strike systems purchased by the Come Back Alive Foundation had been manufactured by Ukrainian manufacturers.

To ensure optimal aerodynamic performance, the developers designed a triangular wing fuselage with a “tailless” configuration, closely resembling the distinctive shape of the Shahed-136 attack UAV.

However, unlike the Iranian Shahed-136, the UAS SETH is powered by an electric motor driving a push rotor, and it is likely launched using a conventional catapult.

While the exact size and range of the UAS SETH’s warhead have not been disclosed, it is estimated to carry a 3-5 kg payload and achieve a flight range of at least 50 km.

The fourth photo shows a module above the rear fuselage that resembles an eight-channel CRPA antenna, designed to securely receive GPS satellite signals, enabling the navigation system to function reliably even in the presence of enemy EW systems.

The UAS SETH was first publicly presented during German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to Ukraine on December 2, 2024.

At the time, Ukrainian-made drones, including those developed in collaboration with German companies, were showcased. One of the drones featured AI-based target acquisition systems created by German companies.

Previously, Militarnyi also reported that the German company Helsing was set to produce 6,000 HX-2 attack drones for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
