The 414th Strike Drone Regiment destroyed a Russian R-934BMV electronic warfare station from the Borisoglebsk-2 system in the Pokrovsk sector.

Robert Brovdi “Magyar,” the unit’s commander, reported this in his Telegram channel.

A deep reconnaissance unit of the 414th Regiment discovered the electronic warfare system during aerial reconnaissance.

Once the target was identified, a multirotor bomber drone was used to destroy it. Given the importance of the target, the drone bomber made two flights to ensure its destruction.

After that, in the morning, additional reconnaissance was conducted, which confirmed the destruction of the R-934BMV from the Borisoglebsk-2 system.

Based on the video, Dnipro Osint identified the exact location of the electronic warfare system – 48.21933206019541, 37.412406009265446 in the village of Serhiivka, Donetsk region.

Borisoglebsk-2

The RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system is a modernization of the Soviet R-330 Mandat electronic warfare system. It is designed to conduct signal reconnaissance and jamming of satellite communications systems, radio navigation systems, and the enemy’s short- and ultra-short-wave radio communications at the tactical and operational-tactical command and control level.

Compared to the Mandat system, the new system has an expanded frequency range, increased scanning speed, reduced response time for unknown frequencies, and higher accuracy in determining the radio source coordinates.

Given the wide range of tasks of the system, it consists of several different equipment units, namely, the R-330KMV control center and R-378BMV, R-934BMV, and R-325UMV jamming stations. All the system equipment is placed on an MT-LBu pelled chassis, which ensures high mobility and cross-country ability.

Upon arrival at the site, the system takes about 15 minutes to deploy all the equipment and prepare for combat operations.

Such electronic warfare stations are powerful and expensive, so it is not often that the Ukrainian military can even simply destroy them.

However, in September 2022, the Defense Forces managed to capture one Russian R-934BMV jamming station in the Kharkiv region.
