In one of the battalions of the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade, a tracked platform for the evacuation of wounded is being tested.

The detachments of the 125th Brigade keep enemy strikes in the Liman direction, combat medics of the brigade are satisfied with the innovation.

“When everything explodes around, you will not carry a stretcher quickly. The average speed is 2 kilometers per hour. And when we were already going back, the Russians began to shout at us even more actively. I don’t know how, but we got out of there, no one, fortunately, was injured, but the evacuation took as much as two hours,” said medic Serhii “Klym”.

It was after this case that he mentioned the developer from Sloviansk who created this platform.

The inventor was previously engaged in the manufacture of radio-controlled children’s toys.

The platform costs UAH 70 thousand, this money was paid by volunteers. They made it in just two weeks.

The soldiers plan to get three more of them, they plan to use them not only for evacuation, but also for the carriage of ammunition and provisions.

The load capacity of the platform is 150 kilograms, the signal from the control panel extends to 100 meters.

The soldiers of the brigade developed a tactic: one person is fifty meters ahead, the operator is fifty meters behind, a platform with a wounded person will drive between them.

In this case, the effectiveness of detection and defeat of the evacuation group is significantly reduced – the enemy will have to spend more ammunition.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has spoken about the priorities for the development of domestic ground drones.

The main priority was the creation of logistic unmanned platforms. They should work at the front in the near zone. In those places where there is direct contact between the Ukrainian military and the enemy.

Such unmanned ground vehicles will allow for evacuation of the wounded Ukrainian soldiers or delivering ammunition and provisions to hard-to-reach Ukrainian positions, the path to which is shelled by Russian invaders.
