Special forces operatives from the elite Shaman unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine carried out a successful ambush against a group of Russian “motorized assault troops,” according to a report from the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

The operation took place in a forested area, precisely timed as a unit of Russian infantry on motorcycles moved in to assault Ukrainian positions.

Due to careful planning and the element of surprise, several enemy combatants were eliminated, while others were taken prisoner.

The battle involved the use of small arms at close range.

Some of the Russian assault troops fell off their motorcycles during the attack.

The equipment remained intact — the motorcycles are still operational and suitable for further use.

Defeats of Russian Motorized Assault Troops

On June 27 in the Sumy region, Russian invaders attempted an advance using a motorcycle column, which was decisively destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

The movement of the motorcycles was continuously monitored by reconnaissance drones, which provided real-time targeting adjustments for strikes on the enemy assault groups.

The first motorcyclists came under heavy fire from drones — their vehicles were destroyed, blocking the advance of the main forces.

FPV drones then targeted the column, carrying out precision strikes and dropping explosives from above.

The operation was conducted under the coordinated guidance of drone operators and ground-based observers.
