U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announces a new humanitarian aid package for Ukraine worth more than $700 million.

The Voice of America reported on this.

It is reported that $325 million is intended to restore the power grids destroyed by Russian attacks and support the Ukrainian energy sector.

$290 million is earmarked for humanitarian assistance, including water, food, shelters and medicine, and $102 million is allocated for demining the territory of Ukraine.

Blinken also announced additional assistance from the G7 countries in the coming weeks.

“We want Ukraine to win,” the U.S. Secretary of State stated.

Blinken added that the collective message to Putin is clear: “our support will not weaken, our unity will not break down.”

Military assistance from the USA

On September 6, Militarnyi reported that the United States included Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and M113 armored personnel carriers in a new military aid package for Ukraine.

It also comprises armored vehicles, artillery ammunition, patrol boats, anti-tank weapons, missiles for air defense systems, and HIMARS missiles.

RIM-7 and Stinger missiles are being transferred to strengthen air defense capabilities.

The previous $125 million package was provided by the United States on August 23.

It included air defense missiles, anti-drone equipment and anti-tank missiles, ammunition, and mobile missile systems.
