The Ukrainian “Gusi-9” group of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, together with the direct action unit, destroyed the Russian “Repeinik” anti-drone radar.
This is stated in the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Judging by the specific interface of the kamikaze drone, the Polish-made Warmate unmanned system was used for the strike.
Recently, Militarnyi reported that these same drones were used to defeat the Russian 48Ya6-K1 “Podlet” radar.
“Repeinik” is a Russian portable radar that is designed to detect and track ultra-small objects in the 360-degree scanning sector, at a distance of up to 15 km, an altitude of up to 5 km and a speed of up to 200 km/h.
Target detection ranges from 2 to 15 km depending on size of object, and the jamming range is 1.5 km.
In addition to drones, the radar can detect vehicles and people.
Tracking and analysis of targets is carried out in a graphical interface with the ability to connect topographic maps of the area for intuitive orientation.
The software supports various operating systems and platforms, and allows you to simultaneously receive and process information from several radars combined into a single network.
The system includes radar and an electronic warfare turret.
The deployment and folding time of the entire complex is 5 minutes.
It is reported that the cost of the “Repeinik” radar is about RUB 10 million, or more than $100 thousand.
