Soldiers of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces neutralized the main battle tank of the Russian military.

This was stated by the Command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

Ukrainian soldiers have also destroyed the armored vehicles and the crew of the Russian military.

The operation was conducted by the soldiers of the 25th Airborne Brigade.

“Each aggressor who came to Ukraine to bring in war will forever remain here in our sacred land. We continue waging hostilities and destroying the enemies of Ukraine,” shared the Command of Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

It should be noted that the tank was seized in a relatively undamaged state and will be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event probably took place in the Donetsk region.

25th Airborne Brigade

The 25th Airborne Brigade is an airborne formation of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

It is based in the town of Hvardiiske, Dnipropetrovsk region, but is conducting combat operations in the Donetsk region.

At the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war in 2014, only one battalion of the Brigade was fully combat-ready.

On July 16, 2002, the Brigade was given the honorable designation “Dnipropetrovsk”. On August 23, 2021, the Brigade was assigned the new honorable designation “Sicheslavska”.

On October 14, 2021, in Zaporizhzhia on the island of Khortytsia, during the visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Brigade Commander, Colonel Yevhen Kurash, received a battle flag with a ribbon of an honorary title.
