Maryinka is under the control of the Armed Forces – General Staff

The Ukrainian military returned Maryinka under its control as a result of the counter-offensive operation.

The report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated the success of the Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk region.

“In the Donetsk direction, near the town of Maryinka, resulting from a counterattack by our troops the enemy had suffered losses and retreated. Units of the Defense Forces have regained control over this settlement,” reads the statement.

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy forces were trying to advance and conduct assault actions south of Izyum.

The attempted offensive was repulsed, and the invaders suffered losses and withdrew.

The blockade of Kharkiv continues in the Slobozhanske direction. Russian troops are trying to fire on units and infrastructure of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian troops launched the offensive in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
