Strike drones hit the Solnechnogorsk oil loading station in the village of Durikino, about 40–45 kilometers from Moscow.
According to the ASTRA outlet, one of the fuel storage tanks was struck, triggering a large fire.
According to local residents, thick black smoke could be seen from dozens of kilometers away from the scene.
Meanwhile, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that infrastructure facilities had come under attack, but provided no further details in his statement.
The station is located at coordinates 56.052851, 37.122296 and is connected to the main ring oil products pipeline surrounding Moscow.
It is one of the largest oil depots in the Moscow region, supplying gasoline and diesel fuel to civilian and industrial transport across the capital region.
Militarnyi previously reported that a large-scale fire broke out at the Nurlyino linear production and dispatch station in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a facility belonging to the Transneft network.
