The Ukrainian e-sports company Maincast, e-sports club NAVI, GSC Game World company, and the MK Foundation donated cars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The press service of Maincast announced this.
The volunteers purchased 100 Volkswagen Transporter vans for the Ukrainian military. Each of them has been fully serviced and painted before shipping.
According to the volunteers, all the cars have already been handed over to the military and sent to the front line to perform their tasks.
This is not the first such campaign. Back in April of this year, the GSC Game World company together with e-sportsmen NaVi and the MK Foundation purchased 100 vans for the Ukrainian military.
At that time, the same model of cars was purchased. The vehicles were distributed to various units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, including the 67th and 41st Mechanized Brigades.
Previously, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy together with enterprises of the fuel and energy industry of Ukraine, have purchased M113 armored personnel carriers for the “Steel Border” brigade.
Tracked APCs are already aiding border guards in destroying Russian invaders. They are also used for medical evacuation.
Herman Halushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine, said that the М113 was purchased in one of the European countries. The vehicles had been in storage and were modernized prior to being sent to Ukraine.
In addition to vehicles, Ukrainian volunteers are also actively involved in raising funds to purchase unmanned aerial vehicles for the Defense Forces.
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation has announced a fundraiser to purchase 2,000 FPV drones for the most effective units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The project also provides funding for the training of 420 FPV drone pilots at the Boryviter military school.
