Uralvagonzavod Delivers T-90M, T-72B3M and T-80BVM Tanks to Russian Army

The Russian corporation Uralvagonzavod has delivered a batch of T-90M, T-80BVM and T-72B3M tanks to the Russian military.

The corporation said the tanks were equipped with additional protective structures.

The corporation did not disclose the exact number of vehicles delivered.

All three models are deep modernizations of Soviet tank platforms with a 125 mm smoothbore gun. They differ in the placement of reactive armor and the set of systems.

In Russia, the T-90M is considered the most modern and expensive version based on the T-72/T-90 line and is the most extensive modernization, featuring a new welded turret.

The tank is distinguished, in particular, by a machine gun on the turret mounted in a remotely controlled combat module.

In the Russian-Ukrainian war, Ukrainian forces have already destroyed all of these tank models. The first T-90M was destroyed in 2022. Ukrainian forces also captured an intact T-90M Proryv in the Kharkiv region.
