The Ukrainian UNWAVE electronic warfare system was the only one able to jam a UAV during NATO’s Baltic Trust 26 exercises in Latvia, the company told Militarnyi.

The exercise marked the final stage of NATO’s program to test counter-UAV systems.

During the Jamming Performance Challenge tests, an EW system from the Ukrainian company jammed a UAV, causing it to lose control and crash.

Due to its successful performance in countering UAVs, the Ukrainian system received a special award from the training organizers.

In addition, during the exercises, the company conducted tests of the Patelnia, Choven, and Shatro electronic warfare systems, as well as the Bashur UAV detection complex.

The Patelynia is a portable infantry EW system in a backpack configuration weighing 15.6 kg, designed to protect positions from munition drops and FPV drones. The system has an output power of 50W per channel, with a total output of 100W. It is powered by a 24V battery that provides up to 100 minutes of autonomous operation.

The Choven is a vehicle-mounted EW system in a roof-box configuration, equipped with 14 jamming modules with a combined output power of 3,200W (50W per channel). The system is designed to block UAV telemetry, video feeds, and navigation. It can be powered by the vehicle’s onboard electrical system or an external 28V battery and mounts on standard roof rails.

The Shatro is a multi-frequency dome EW system that creates a continuous 360-degree barrier against FPV drones and munition drops. Depending on the configuration, the system combines single- and dual-channel amplifier modules with an output power of at least 50W per channel.

The Bashur is a compact passive UAV detection and direction-finding system with power consumption of up to 20W. It detects FPV drones and analog video channels at distances of up to 2 km and sends a signal to automatically activate EW systems within two minutes of deployment.

Earlier this May, the company’s software demonstrated compatibility with NATO’s C-UAS digital architecture in accordance with STANREC 4869 during the Technical Interoperability Exercise 2026.

It has also been integrated with ten modules from other manufacturers.
