Ukrainian attack drones struck a Russian position with a tropospheric communication station in the Kherson region.
Analysts from the Dosye_shpiona group found out that the equipment belonged to the Russian 66th Communications Brigade.
The invaders deployed the R-423 tropospheric communication station on the outskirts of Nova Kakhovka.
According to the analysts, the station was attacked using six attack UAVs of an unspecified type.
The strike destroyed the R-423 tropospheric communication station and a power supply station (probably E-351).
According to analysts, two Russian soldiers were wounded.
The R-423 tropospheric communication station provides direct communications at a distance of at least 150 km.
It is also designed for the construction of radio relay tropospheric communication lines with a length of 500-560 km, with three retransmissions.
The E-351 mobile power plant provides power supply to communication facilities, field communication hubs and automation systems.
The occupied town of Nova Kakhovka is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, a few kilometers downstream from the town of Kakhovka.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively trying to destroy Russian facilities on the left bank. They are using a variety of weapons to do so.
In March, they used JDAM, or French AASM 250 HAMMERs guided bombs, which were transferred to the Ukrainian Air Force as part of the assistance to launch air strikes against the invaders, to destroy a Russian UAV control center.
