Soldiers of the Kurt & Company unit of the 28th Separate Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign are using a robodog.

The video and photos of it were posted by the unit’s soldiers.

It is reported that the drone was used during the battles for the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region.

Apparently, the robodog was used for reconnaissance, which was facilitated by its high cross-country ability, speed, and low visibility.

According to the photos, the drone was also used for reconnaissance in buildings.

The four-legged drone has a camouflage coating and a special handle for quick transportation.

The video also shows that the drone is equipped with a camouflage net for reconnaissance on the ground.

Such drones are used by the armed forces of various countries quite actively, both in experimental programs and for serious missions.

For example, a few years ago, the United States began using Q-UGV drones developed by Ghost Robotics and Immersive Wisdom to patrol air bases.

Such small and highly mobile drones can be used to perform a wide range of tasks, from reconnaissance and logistics to strike operations.

Their size and advanced motor skills allow them to move quickly and unnoticed, passing through narrow spaces, dense buildings, and dense overgrowth.

In addition, they can be equipped with a variety of modules, such as manipulators, sensors, cameras, or even full-fledged weapons.
