The engineers from the International Legion of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine have developed and built a new ground robotic system, the press service of the Legion said.
The tracked drone, named ‘Legit,’ was designed by the members of the Cyclon UAV reconnaissance and strike group with the support from the Legion’s patronage service.
According to released footage, Legit is a compact, multi-purpose platform designed for both logistics and combat roles.
In its logistics configuration, the platform can tow a trailer to transport ammunition, supplies or other cargo.
In combat mode, Legit is equipped with a module mounting two infantry grenade launchers, allowing it to provide fire support for assault teams or target enemy fortifications.
The drone can also be used in kamikaze attacks, with an explosive charge installed on the body and triggered upon contact with a target.
The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade has launched its own training school for ground robotic system (UGV) operators.
The school is based on KillHouse Academy, which was originally founded in April 2024 to train FPV drone operators and engineers.
The course is open to civilians on a paid basis and to active-duty military personnel free of charge.
The training facility includes a dedicated field, simulator hall, workshop, and a fleet of combat drones.
The five-day course covers basic UGV operations, tactical deployment, control, maintenance, combat readiness, communication, and decision-making in field scenarios.
