The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has obtained documentary evidence proving that Russia’s 1st Tank Army has suffered extensive losses in manpower and equipment in the course of its operation in Ukraine.

The analysis of the papers allowed to establish a list of units involved in the invasion of Ukraine.

These documents also provided information on military ranks and names of Russian invaders who either went missing, were captured or sustained wounds and injuries in combat.

Intelligence reports that as of March 15, the total losses of the 1st Guards Tank Army amounted to 409 people. Ukrainian soldiers killed 61 and wounded 209 invaders.

It is reported that during the first two weeks of the war, 44 Russian tanker operators went missing, and 96 invaders of this army decided to save their lives and surrender.

During this period, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed and seized 308 units of military equipment from the invader’s 1st Guards Tank Army.

For Russia, the key task now is to surround the Ukrainian forces holding the defense in the Sieverodonetsk-Lysychansk-Rubizhne areas.

The Russians are concentrating most of their efforts and resources on this assignment.

According to Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, up to 2,500 units of military equipment were brought to the Popasna district in recent days.

From here, the Russian Armed Forces seek to reach the Bakhmut-Sieverodonetsk highway and thus begin to surround the Ukrainian forces. The Russians are trying to move towards the target through the village of Komyshuvakha.
