Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Air Defense Position in Sochi

After the drone attack, a detonation and fire occurred near a Russian air defense position in the Sochi area, where an S-300 or S-400 system was reportedly deployed.

This was reported by the ASTRA project, which conducted an OSINT analysis.

According to analysts, the fire was located near the settlement of Sirius, close to the Psou river on the border with Abkhazia.

In addition to the SAM systems, Russian forces have deployed radar equipment in the Sirius coastal area. Local residents had previously reported a large radar near the Baltic Wings beach.

Multiple explosions were reported, while footage released online shows a fire followed by a subsequent detonation.

The federal territory of Sirius near Sochi has repeatedly been targeted by drone attacks due to the presence of Russian military infrastructure there.

Yesterday, a Ukrainian USV struck the Russian Nefrit supply ship near a pier in the seaport of Sochi.
