Ukrainian Defense Forces Shot Down a Russian Su-35

The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian Su-35 multi-role fighter jet.

Russian propagandist Alexei Zemtsov, who runs the Telegram channel “Voevoda Broadcasts,” confirmed the loss of the Su-35.

According to him, the pilot survived and returned to his base.

The Ukrainian Air Force also reported the downing of the Russian aircraft.

According to the Telegram channel Sunflower, which is associated with the Ukrainian Air Force, the plane was shot down by the Ukrainian military.

“Today, in combat, we shot down the very same experienced enemy pilot who had been causing us a lot of trouble in this area. Thank you to everyone involved—you are the best,” wrote the authors of the Sunflower channel.

The Russian Su-35 multi-role fighter jet is designed to gain air superiority, intercept aerial targets, and strike ground and naval targets.
