Ukrainian Defense Forces Destroy Road Bridge on Donetsk–Mariupol Highway

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed a road bridge on the Donetsk–Mariupol highway, a key supply route used by Russian forces for military logistics.

The Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported the strike.

Photos published from the scene show the bridge heavily damaged and no longer passable for military vehicles.

A strike by Ukrainian forces caused several spans on both carriageways of the bridge to collapse. The supporting piers were also damaged.

The bridge is located near the village of Kremenivka in the Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. Traffic on this section of the highway has been completely blocked, which is expected to hamper the movement of Russian military vehicles in the area.

Recently, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed a road bridge near the temporarily occupied city of Novoazovsk, also in the Donetsk region.

This bridge is part of the so-called “land corridor” that the Russian military uses to transport personnel, ammunition, fuel, and military equipment between Russia and the occupied cities of Mariupol, Melitopol, and Crimea.
