Ukrainian Armor has developed the UB80D10-EFP FPV drone for the Defense Forces, which is equipped with a strike warhead.
The drone’s presentation took place during the Brave1 Advantage event, which was attended by a correspondent from Militarnyi.
The UB80D10-EFP is designed to engage enemy personnel, armored vehicles, and other military equipment and assets.
The combat unit, featuring an impact core and high-explosive fragmentation effect, weighs 3 kilograms.
A company representative explained that the drone is built on a 10-inch frame. It will be available to the military in two versions: radio-controlled and fiber-optic.
In addition to the impact core, the UB80D10-EFP can be equipped with an 82 mm mine as a warhead.
Depending on military requirements, the drone can be equipped with a day or night camera, analog or digital communication systems operating at various frequencies, and an automatic target-tracking module can also be integrated.
The radio-controlled version of the FPV drone can fly up to 30 km and reach speeds of 130 km/h.
For the fiber-optic version, the company is targeting a 25–30-kilometer cable reel. They are also considering the use of a 40-kilometer reel in the future.
UB80D10-EFP FPV drones will be available for order within one to two months after codification.
The warhead with an explosive core is designed to destroy enemy armored and lightly armored vehicles, including those equipped with cage armor. According to the developers, it can penetrate 50 millimeters of armor.
As a reminder, in May, another drone from Ukrainian Armor—the UB82D with an integrated 82 mm mine—was codified and approved for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
