President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have some success in the Kharkiv region.

He mentioned this during an evening video address at the end of the 196th day of the full-scale invasion.

Zelensky did not share the names of the settlements liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Russian invaders.

“This week, we have good news from the Kharkiv region. You all have likely already seen reports about the activity of Ukrainian defenders. And I think every citizen feels proud of our soldiers,” said the President.

He also emphasized that now is not the time to name the settlements to which the Ukrainian flag returned.

Nevertheless, according to the President, it’s time to say thank you to the 25th airborne brigade, the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, and the 80th airborne assault brigade for their bravery and heroism shown during combat missions.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to the 406th separate artillery brigade for their extremely successful hits in the invader-concentrated areas in the south of our country, as well as to the 60th separate infantry brigade, which is consistently advancing our positions.

As previously reported, the Russian Federation invasion forces aviation lost its Su-25 attack aircraft in the Kharkiv region. The enemy aircraft was trying to attack the Ukrainian military.

Also, in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian servicemen captured Russian small-sized RP-377 jammer systems.

They are intended for jamming the radio control channels of mine-explosive devices.

In addition, the Ukrainian military recaptured the BTR-4Е armored personnel carrier from the Russian invaders during their counteroffensive actions in the Kharkiv region.

This BTR-4Е belonged to the soldiers of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade and was lost in March 2022.
