The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a strike on the oil infrastructure of the Russian port of Taman in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.

The information was confirmed by local governor Veniamin Kondratyev, who stated that four oil product storage tanks at the terminal caught fire.

The exact time of the strike has not been disclosed, but local media report that an air raid alert was issued at around 5 p.m.

The type of weapon used is currently unknown.

The previous attack on the port of Taman took place a month ago, on the night of December 21–22, 2025, when drones targeted it.

At that time, the strike damaged a pier, a pipeline, and vessels that were in the port.

The Taman Transshipment Complex, operated by the company Tamanneftegaz, is one of the largest in the Black Sea region.

Its tank farm for storing petroleum products and liquefied gas has a total capacity exceeding 1 million cubic meters.

The Taman marine terminal serves as a key export hub in the Black Sea, handling the transshipment of oil, gas, ammonia, grain, coal, and other cargoes for international trade.
