Ukraine has begun blocking Starlink satellite communication terminals that were not previously included on an approved “whitelist.”

According to Ukrainian users in the Facebook group People’s Starlink and Russian propagandist Romanov Light, unregistered terminals are being restricted.

Unlike the enemy’s equipment, Ukrainian users can restore access by completing a verification process.

How to avoid Starlink being blocked

Military personnel and security service staff using Starlink must submit their terminals’ identification numbers through the DELTA system to prevent restrictions.

Users do not need to register the terminals on the official balance of military units. There is also no need to provide confidential account data or passwords.

Thanks to the DELTA system, a network consisting only of verified devices is created, making it impossible for Russians to use them.

This decision was a direct response to attempts by Russian forces to use SpaceX technologies in the war against Ukraine. In particular, the enemy began equipping its drones with Starlink terminals.
