Ukraine Unveils Behemoth Shahed-Style Drone With Hundreds-of-Kilometers Range

Ukraine has presented a Shahed-style drone called Behemoth capable of striking targets hundreds of kilometers away with two separate warheads.

The drone was presented at the Wild Drones event by representatives of GLEFA and Culver Aerospace, who also discussed it in an interview with Militarnyi.

Designed for short-range strike missions, the Behemoth UAV belongs to the “middle strike” class of drones and has a combat range of up to 300 kilometers.

The drone measures 2.28 meters in wingspan, 2.2 meters in length, and 0.5 meters in height.

It carries a 40 kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead in the nose section, along with a 35 kg thermobaric warhead positioned behind it.

The drone has already entered serial production and is being used by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. It supports fully autonomous, semi-automatic, and FPV control modes.

One of the key features of the kamikaze drone is its ability to fly at low altitude, making it more difficult for air defense systems to detect and intercept.
