Drones struck a fuel and lubricants warehouse and a mining and processing plant in the Kursk region.
Roman Starovoyt, head of the Russian region, confirmed the attack.
Following the drone attack, a fire broke out at the fuel and lubricants warehouse in the Zheleznogorsky district.
Roman Starovoyt claimed that the Russian facility was allegedly attacked by Ukrainian drones.
“Today, as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack in the Zheleznogorsky district, the fuel and lubricants warehouse got on fire. A fuel tank is on fire, no one was injured,” Starovoyt reported.
The Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant in Zheleznogorsk also got on fire.
According to sources, a UAV attack caused the fire. A video posted by the Mash Telegram channel captured one of the plant’s tanks on fire.
Prior to that, the city declared a missile threat. Residents were urged to shelter.
As previously reported, at least 309 drone attacks were carried out on the territory of Russia in February.
Most of the attacks were recorded in the Belgorod region: it accounted for 219 cases.

Many drone attacks in the border area are difficult to detect. The Russian Federation is also concealing the results of damage caused by Ukrainian drones. The results are disclosed when a drone hits large objects, which are immediately reported to the public.
