The company UADEFENSE presented its new development — the multifunctional unmanned surface vehicle M.A.K.

Details about the drone were provided to Militarnyi by a company representative at the World Defense Show 2026 defense exhibition, which is taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This drone was originally designed as a river drone, but the developers confirmed its ability to operate effectively in marine conditions with wave heights of up to 0.75 meters.

One of the main advantages of the device is its stealth. The drone’s silhouette rises only 30 centimeters above the water, and the body is made of fiberglass.

M.A.K. is equipped with a Chinese-made electric motor, which provides it with a speed of up to 40 km/h and high maneuverability during missions.

As a kamikaze drone, it is capable of carrying a 60-kilogram warhead, with an autonomous range of 30 to 50 kilometers.

An important feature of the design is a removable deck, which allows the drone to be transformed into a carrier of other weapons, for example, by installing two additional FPV drones while reducing the main warhead to 40 kilograms. Thanks to this modularity, the M.A.K. can act as a “drone mother ship,” which significantly expands its range.

“These drones can be used as weapons for larger drones, known as ‘drone carriers’. This means they can fly longer distances. At a distance of 50 km, they drop this drone and move on,” said the representative.

The device uses Starlink satellite communications, LTE, Mesh radio systems (DTC, Silvus, Trellis Ware), and fiber optic cable. Communications can be changed during the mission.

The developers emphasize that the drone’s warhead is not fixed — its type and power can be adapted to any specific customer needs. In addition to its strike capabilities, the platform is suitable for logistics and reconnaissance missions, and in the future, the developers do not rule out the creation of a civilian version.

Compared to such well-known systems as Magura or Sea Baby, the new M.A.K. drone is significantly cheaper to produce.

The device is currently in the process of codification, having undergone intensive testing on water for five months.
